A Las Vegas residency is when an artist performs multiple shows at the same venue over a set period of time instead of touring between cities.
Artists schedule a series of dates in one location. Some perform over a few weeks, others return multiple times throughout the year.
Residencies stay in one venue with repeat dates. Tours move between cities, usually with one performance per stop.

When artists have residencies in Vegas, it means they aren’t moving from city to city but performing in the same place for a “run” of shows. Vegas residencies are almost always performed as full-scale productions, rather than concerts.
